Arrow If U are in charge of the Redskins FO, .... what would U do if STaylor is gone _?

Note: I hope this is not a duplicate post.
If I am in charge of the Redskins FO, then .... ....

1.} I will install these working principles for every1 to follow:

------------------------------------------------------------
a.} I will always try to upgrade & recruit top_notch_scouts.

b.} I will always be on the lookout to draft high_character_playmaker, 1st is on defense, and then 2nd is on offense.

c.} If the playmaker that we are after is gone before our turn to grab him, then I will trade_down a few spot, and draft the player who is the most coveted by most teams, usually they are QB & RB.

d.} I will tend to stockpile as many draft_picks as I can, if I anticipate an upcoming bumper_draft.

------------------------------------------------------------
e.} I will tend to trade_away my 1st & 2nd_rounds draft_picks, if I anticipate an upcoming lean_draft.

f.} I will tend to swap cash for draft_picks, since Redskins cash_flow is strong.

g.} I will try to develop low_round or free_agent QB & RB, and trade them away for 1st_round draft_picks.

h.} I will never draft a kicker or a punter in the first 4 rounds.
------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------

2.} Case_study_2004_draft:

When it is our turn to pick @ #5, then ... ...

2.a.} If Sean Taylor is available, then I will grab him.

2.b.} If Sean Taylor is gone, then I will grab Ben Roethlisberger. ....I will trade Ben Roethlisberger to QB needy teams, and get as many 2004_draft_picks as I can. -- or --

2.c.} If Sean Taylor is gone, then I will trade our 5th_pick & cash to get him back. .... I will never trade up before knowing which team ahead of us that grab Sean Taylor.
------------------------------------------------------------

On ChampBailey / ClintonPortis trade:

I will negotiate hard by expanding the variables and swap our 2004_2nd_round draft_pick with Denver_2005_2nd_round draft_pick or Denver_2006_1st_rounder. ... I will not simply give them away just like that.

Please feel free to criticize my method and suggest the improvement.
What are your drafting principles?
------------------------------------------------------------

Arrow Assuming we have top_notch QB & RB in place already.

We should strive to develop a top_notch backup players (especially QB & RB) and showcase them on the playing field and trade them for future 1st & 2nd round draft picks.

We will showcase those backup players during a blowout game.

During regular season / playoff games, we should run up the score and get a 28+ pts margin, then replace our regular starters with those backups.

backups, I didnt know Washington had backups. I thought we overpay for starters, underpay for backups and then just hope and pray everything works out. It will be nice now with Gibbs that we get depth and develop players more.

i would trade the pick to the steelers or bills for a 1st, 2nd and 5th or 6th. then take wilfork with the 1st round, sean jones 2nd round and rod davis with the 5th or 6th and our defense would be young and insane!!!!
