Question Session
1. We have all heard that athletes don’t need motivation, they are professionals after all. True as that maybe there are still things that need to be said by a coach. If you were Gibbs what would you say to the players to make them really getup for the game?
2. I really haven't seen much interference calls against our receivers. Do the Skins have any interference plays in their playbook. Are our receivers not big enough for those sort of plays? 3. Do you think the Skins will utilize trick plays against Dallas? How about running one on our first possession of the game? |

Re: Question Session
I think running one our first possesion is very likely - simply because it's so unlike Gibbs.

Re: Question Session
Our trick plays have not been working very well latley. Portis passed to ? and they did not bite on the play incomplete pass. End around with moss for a loss. Portis to try and hand off to brown for a end around. He never got the ball near Brown and had to scramble for a yard or two loss. How about the same route Moss ran for those two large plays last time we played. That would get them thinking.

Re: Question Session
Well they got burned on a post by Moss that first play, so a little post-corner could be in effect.

Re: Question Session
1. I'd tell the team that this game is bigger than whoever plays in the SB XL and they have golden opportunity to put their mark on this historical game...
2. I don't think the size of the WR is a prerequisite for those type of plays. Moss gets open. If a DB doesn't grab him before he runs past him there won't be a call. And he's surprisingly tough taking hits. 3. We've talked about trick plays all week. And saying that, maybe we shouldn't start the game with gadgetry. Stick to the gameplan and mix that in afterwards. |
