Re: Playoff Possibility Chart from Espn
heres the deal, if atlanta loses tonight and the skins win the last two and finish at 10-6, then the skins will make the playoffs. they beat out minn., dal. and atl. because they will have a better conference record ( 10-2 )

Re: Playoff Possibility Chart from Espn
Dallas can still go to the playoffs if a number of teams lose all their remaining games.

Re: Playoff Possibility Chart from Espn
the only reason dallas is still listed as having a matchup with carolina in the playoffs is because atlanta hasn't played yet. if atlanta wins tonight, they will still have the final playoff seed, but if they lose, we get the final wildcard.

I just like the way this sounds.
"The Redskins are No. 6 based on better conference record than the Vikings, Falcons and head-to-head sweep over the Cowboys." From http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2255786

Re: Playoff Possibility Chart from Espn
All this crap doesn't freaking matter. I could care less what seed we are right now, or what espn thinks. We need to look towards next game, and not get COCKY. The best teams win consistently, and they do not let losses or WINs phase them. I think that is a problem we have had in the past, in that we get too confident. NY is a good team, and they manhandled us last time. Atleast we are at home, but still we need to get to Eli like we did to Drew this game. Seriously all I want for Christmas is for the Redskins to make it to the playoffs.

Re: Playoff Possibility Chart from Espn
None of this matters unless we win. As we've known for the last 3 weeks, we have to win our last 5 games to make the playoffs. That is still true.
We have to come up with a way to beat the Giants, somehow. And then Philly. We got lucky today, but I don't think that's going to be the case next week -- we'll be in a dogfight again. |
