Eagles

we can all celebrate for a day or two. But lets not get too excited yet. If we cant beat the eagles next week, everything we've done this season especially the last two weeks means NOTHING. Stay optimistic but dont think we've got this yet. Biggest game of the season next week by far.

Re: Eagles

Re: Eagles

Eagles will bring everything they've got next Sunday. They were humiliated by the Arizona Cardinals this week. They will come out looking to spoil our playoff hopes. They have NOTHING TO LOSE! They've already lost it all! Wish this game was at Fed Ex! I have faith that we'll show up next Sunday and put it all on the line! Let's GO REDSKINS!!!

The key: Get out to an early lead so that Philly gives up.

and maybe just as important: make their fans give up and maybe pull one of their usuals and start booing their own team.

Re: Eagles

Philly is a tough team that is player quite well without McNabb, and I think we should not lose focus we need to win this game, we can control our own faith, and we do not need to be in a situation in which we have to hope for other teams to lose. I feel this game actually may be tougher than the last two, just because we are on the road. I think we can do it tho, just can not get cocky about this win at all. Go Skins

Re: Eagles

We need to pressure their QB (whoever they put in) and keep the ball in Portis' hands.
A few deep balls to Moss, and we have a 28-3 win.

Re: Eagles

The Eagles could only muster up 189 total yards against the ARIZONA CARDINALS.

look at their pathetic stats:

Definitely another "must-win" game. We've come too far to lay an egg in Philly. If we really are a playoff team, then we'll take care of business in Philly.

Re: Eagles

But that was at Arizona and the Cards were playing with passion. Coach Reid is not gonna be happy with the lose, and neither are the players. The have nothing going for them right now, so what they want is to ruin playoff hopes for a rival NFC East team. I think we can throw out any stats for this game, it really doesn't matter. We are still playing at Philly agaisnt a tough team, with rowdy, trashy fans, you can't take it lightly.

We beat the Cards at Arizona too. Eagles could not. Cards were fired up for both games.

I think we go into the new Vet and beat them into submission.

Re: Eagles

Eagles are a tough team defensively, and playing their last game at home will just fuel their fire. Redskins need score early by couple of big plays to take their rabid fans out of the game. I'm more worried about this game than I was with the Giants. High power defense is harder to handle than high power offense IMO.

Re: Eagles

Redskins fans need to road-trip and go to the game. There are tons of tickets available and it's a short drive away. Plus, it's basically our first playoff game: win and we automatically advance; lose and we probably go home.

Head up there and make some noise if you can!
