Baker is your classic West Coast Offense QB. Quick release. Athleticism. Quick decision maker. Accurate. Not the biggest arm...but enough. Although OU's system doesn't have a lot on NFL concepts Baker is uber productive and efficient within the offense. He executes the gameplan the coach calls at a high level.

The fit for/with Jay is because Baker plays with confidence, moxie and makes plays. Baker's playmaking is an aspect the offense has been missing.

So, if Cousins is a proven Baker, why take the risk? Just pay the dude.

I don't view them as similar. And I think Cousins will be gone.
