Especially if the draft is in the 3rd and, for whatever reason, a team still does not have a guy for next year. JC's value may rise during the draft.

I agree. Someone will be very uncomfortable with their current roster, or, not that I wish it or anything, but someone always gets hurt in T.C or the preseason.

His stock is steadily rising the closer we get to opening day, IMO. I think if we wanted, we could definitely get a 3rd rounder for him, soon. Getting a second is a little shaky, we might need to package up our 4th rounder with him for that to happen.
