I think Gibbs was saying that the way the league is, and especially with this coaching staff, the potential for at least one undrafted FA to develop into a pro-bowl player is there. But I don't think he had anyone in particular in mind.

Ah, Sports Curmudgeon! Always the cold-hearted voice of reason! Let your passions run free and dream of the butterfly-like metamorphesis of young Mr. Boschetti into a Canton-bound pro-bowl lineman!!!

the bRuins were really bad this past year... their line was bad too- me being at SC, i never even heard of this guy and their team is ten minutes away. A guy that started for them at QB and their backup RB transferred this spring. hehehe, i just haven't heard anyone come out of UCLA that's worth something special the past couple of years. Anyone remember skip hicks? JJ stokes? rickey manning had a few good games, but that's about it.

And, I think Gibbs's guarantee was that one person in the undrafted free agent CLASS will become a pro bowler, not necessarily one that the Redskins pick up.

Ricky Manning Jr. had more than a few good games. For a rookie he did exceptional.

yeah he had a great game where his INTs dictated the outcome... even then, i still give the credit to carolina's D-Line more than anything.
