As usual, ESPN has us pegged as last in the division and a losing record for next year.

Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers top divisions in early projected standings - NFL - ESPN

I am pretty sure I will be as excited by every Philly loss (and I hope there are lots) as Redskins wins this year. I am hoping I have a very exciting year.

So basically, like most other years, the prognosticators are basing their current season predictions on last year. Many of the same folks had us winning the division last year after we had done so previously, and the Eagles finishing last. So take all this early season prediction garbage for what it is worth, NOTHING.

Its official, Pats in Richmond for Aug 4-6 joint pratice. Thats awesome
At least we know RG3 won't have to worry about any sort of pass rush for those 3 days ba dum chhh

Then again the secondary might have to be put on suicide watch no later then August 7th.

(whisper whisper) Wait what do you mean the Patriots finished 5th in total sacks last year? Surely you're looking at sacks allowed and not sacks made. (whisper whisper) fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Is it me or does Clev seem to be going out of their way to humble Manziel. You've got the GM and head coach making comments to the media about how great Hoyer is in practices with no pads. Plus the owner said some things about Clev "not being Hollywood"...lol..Who are they kidding? Themselves? The minute Hoyer throws an INT the fans and media will be screaming for Manziel.

I actually just had a Philosoraptor level revelation that I came up with on my own, though I wouldn't be surprised if it had been pointed out a million times already.

If one were to read the Texas A&M helmet logo from left to right it spells out ATM. #MindBlown #Dirtbag>SoCrates

Edit: Yep, the entire Texas Longhorn marching band beat me to it.

I wonder what Kyles take is on all this. I mean its kind of an open secret that the Shanahans at least had a passing interest in Hoyer before we got RG3 so that might have been so that might have been a plus when Kyle was sorting through job offers, but the comments like the homeless guy story and the owner commenting on the depth chart makes me wonder if Kyle is kind of being overridden. Plus Manziel went to A&M so for a former Longhorn thats got to rub some salt in the room. Then again Manziel does have a Longhorn tattoo so maybe Kyle can look past that

Well 10-6 at the top and 7-9 at the bottom wouldn't surprise me in the East. We shouldn't be slouches like last year based solely on Griff being healthy. I guess when you lose a lot over a long period of time it is something that comes with the territory. The Eagles lost a hell of a playmaker, and I think the NFL will be ready for Chips high speed offense this year. Seemed like they were getting used to it already last year. The Cowboys did not improve imo. The Giants added a couple of nice pieces but they also lost a couple. Eli is a big question mark after last year. Id say we have as good a chance to be the 10-6 team at the top as we do the 7-9 team at the bottom.

What the heck is that supposed to mean? The saying is "rub some salt in the wound". You know, make it hurt more.

I don't usually comment on such things but we have to draw the lime somewhere.
