While I'm happy the Skins won my biggest take away from this game is how bad the Skins really are. TN is terrible and it took everything the Skins had including some luck to just barely squeak by for a win. The 2014 Skins are not a very good football team.

Kirk Cousins got his chance, is it fair to say Kirk got a fair chance?

Yes, I think its fair to say he got a chance.

What the Skins are facing now is that instead of having 2 good QBs like they thought, there's a very good chance they have 0 good QBs and that's really going to create a mess.

There is no mess. Robert is #1. As always, I believe in Robert. IMO He will soon become a very good QB.

Let's hope so. But judging by some of Gruden's comments the other day, he doesn't sound too sold on Griffin. Nor does he seem like he's willing to wait around for him to develop.

Robert is a young QB. If he struggles in any particular game, then I'd have no problem with Gruden having Colt relieve him to try to win that particular game. Then, I would expect Gruden to start RGIII in the next game. Many young QB's have been developed in this way.

If Gruden were to sit RGIII and go with Colt, then I'd be hoping that Snyder would fire his stupid ass. I believe that RGIII is the future of this team, so I think that the Gruden must balance the current and future needs of the team as far as Robert's development is concerned. I know that is a difficult thing for Gruden to do but that is part of the job of being an NFL HC.

RG is the #1 but if it turns out he cant get the job done then the team will have a mess on their hands.

Fair chance to do what? He was never going to be the starter.

Backups don't need a fair chance, they just need to win a couple of games to keep the team in the race until the starter returns. He failed to do that. IMO, they went with Kirk one game too many. It hurt the team.

The move to Colt had to be done and Colt delivered. Good for him. Now, we can focus on getting back to business when Robert returns.

The only question for Kirk now is whether or not he is the #2 or the #3. In all likelihood, he's now the #3.

Very fair. He's lost his confidence. Thing is every game he puts some difficult throws right on the money, but his turnovers sucks the life out of the team. I do think he can still play in the NFL, but he needs to shake this.
