You don't need to be straight line fast from the slot, it's more important to be quick. The speed from Desean and Pierre on the outside opens up so much for Crowder. Teams will need to get up in Crowder's face to disrupt him or he'll tear them up on short slants.

And of course once they get up in his face then you have a mismatch with either Pierre or Deseaon, or Reed over the middle.
