Nelson would be a huge addition. Predicting the Biggest Suitors for Reggie Nelson, NFL's Best Remaining FA Safety | Bleacher Report

Add him to a good defensive draft and the D could be a strength of the team.

Why does Reggie Nelson remain unsigned?

per Mike Jones the Redskins are not interested in Donte Whitner

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016

In an interview with ESPN's Adam Schefter, free agent Greg Hardy insists he has never hit a woman.

"I've never put my hand on any women," were Hardy's exact words. There are mountains of evidence to the contrary, but the 27-year-old free agent has somehow decided lying through his teeth is the best strategy. Hardy remains an elite pass rusher, but is a character nightmare like few in NFL history. It's quite possible no one takes the plunge for 2016.

probably resigns with the Cowboys. lying women beaters are their style

Raiders D is going to be better next year. The middle of the D for them is pretty stout, and Amerson played well for them (why not us?!) on the back end last year.

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016

Denver coach Gary Kubiak has spoken with free-agent quarterback Johnny Manziel as a potential fit for the Broncos' roster down the line, two sources with or tied to the team told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

wow...

Gary Kubiak, Johnny Manziel talk fit with Denver Broncos

really telling about RG3 value and confidence from others in being a starting QB in the league.

Looks like Vinny Cerrato is secretly working in Seattle.

@AaronNagler
The Seahawks have $8.75 million committed to their entire offensive line in 2016. The entire. Line.

Yeah, it shows how little actual performance matters.

There is 0 football logic in considering Manziel as an option but not Griffin. Must have been because of the ringing endorsement of Griffin their close friends Mike S. gave them, lol.

@MikeGarafolo

Sources: Josh Gordon's reinstatement hung up by failed (diluted) drug test. No ruling yet from Goodell:

Josh Gordon is such a dumbass. Just go ahead and ban this idiot for life.

Manziel is a tool and a fool, but as far as performance on the field he has had better ones than Griff as of late. That being said neither one is the answer anywhere.

I don't mean to turn this into a social commentary, but I think it is a bit laughable that Gordon will likely never set foot in an NFL field because of pot; yet the NFL is yet to do anything about Manziel, whose domestic violence case has been sent to a grand jury in Texas.

in the big scheme of things I completely agree. I think its fairly interesting in a league that looked the other way when med staffs would shoot up players with pain killers and gave players access to oral pain killers sometimes leading to addictions (hello Brett Farve), a league that sometimes looked the other way with steroid abuse, a league that likes to prop itself up with beer makers and openly touts the relationship with drinking and football is quite hypocritical.

Also weed has pain reducing qualities which can be beneficial versus heavy painkillers. Also treatment of cte and concussions have come to light: "Bennet Omalu, the doctor who discovered the first case of CTE in an NFL player and the basis of Will Smith’s character in “Concussion,” recently joined the board of a medical company researching whether marijuana could help treat brain injuries."
