Guys like this should be in jail and not serving as a cop. Most likely nothing will happen to this guy. The fact he's still employed tells you as much.





The cost to educate a kid in the ghetto doesn't cost any more to educate a kid in the suburbs. In fact, many of the poverty stricken schools don't get the funding they desperately need. Also, it's hard to keep/recruit teachers that want to teach in those areas as well.




Well, if you are bitching about the educational system still, you are preaching to the choir about how ineffective it is. You can thank GWB for the "no child left behind" gem which tied school funding to these asinine tests. What in the hell do you think was going to happen? Not only did GWB fuck up the middle east and our debt, but he wrecked our educational system as well.

Also, I swear to god Chico, if you mention common core, I'm going to slap the stupid out of you. Common core isn't a federal mandated thing, it was devised by the states and instituted by the states. This is also another stupid ass educational failure. If you already knew this, then you are ahead of most people.


Until the issue of poverty is addressed, the violence will continue. I don't think there is a single simple solution out there, and quite frankly, a lot of help and support is going to have to come from those very communities as well. It's going to continue being a vicious cycle until it gets worked out. The main problem is, nobody gives a flying fuck about poor black people. Many policies (see drug war) are aimed at keeping them exactly where they are. Putting loads of hurdles in a man's path means he has more obstacles to stumble over. Couple that with media portraying these people being the main reason for the downfall of America. They act as if they're some sort of drag on the finances, when much of welfare doesn't even hit 10% of our budget.

You want to start seeing who the drain on the country is, start adding up all the taxes the .001% are evading with tax loop holes and off-shore accounts. Add up all the corporate welfare handed out to oil companies and other industries. Add up all the taxes that huge corporations are avoiding paying by using loopholes and off shore accounts. I guarantee you, it'll dwarf that welfare number on the budget graph. So let's take some of that money, pump it back into our economy and better paying jobs and help get people out of poverty.



First off, I NEVER said that violence is in ALL impoverished communities. I said that violence and poverty are directly related in the grand scheme of things. I dare you to point me out one middle or upper class neighbor full of violent crime. Now find out every single violent crime-ridden area and tell me what the poverty level is. If it isn't poor, I'll send you a 6 pack of your choice.

If your going to go there answer this major glaring issue: Do you have any explanations for the fact democrats who have run Chicago, philly, DC, Detroit, Baltimore, Cleveland for the last 25 years continue to have zero success? These are the most violent large cities in the country. Also, 8 years of Obama, so you can't blame a republican "#sowhite" federal government. I need to hear your excuses please.

Billions of dollars have been spent there to change these circumstances. so don't give me bullshit that nobody has helped. Cost to educate a kid in Baltimore is insane, a lot of federal money has been spent there. So to say taxpayers have turned their back is horseshit

Like I've stated, poverty pimps are sitting fat in those cities and a lot of this "cycle " you talk about, welp, personal responsibility and knowing right from wrong is a good place to start.
