Chief problem?, hmm... I would argue that Jonathan Allen going down was a huge blow to our defense. You can clearly see a different monster pre and post JA injury.

I think the CT injury exploited an offense that was overly reliant on him, which is probably to your point. On offense we weren't destroyed by injuries across the board, but got dealt a death blow due to our lack of talent (specifically on the WR corps). No way to recover from that.

But I see your point. Saying just "INJURIES" is a lazy and inaccurate statement on its own. I think it's probably not valid as standalone, but a large contributor to a bad season.

Lastly, why the fuck can't we run in short yardage situations ever? I'm curious as to what teams that can run in short yardage situations do differently and how we can replicate that.
