As far as Ramsey shouldn't have been put into the game?? I don't get why you're saying what you're saying. Ramsey is a football player - a well paid one at that! No one's there to babysit Patrick Ramsey and to be sure he's emotionally okay and if his feelings are hurt. You're making Ramsey's entrance into the game something it's not. This isn't about feelings or emotions or some reality TV show, it's about football. Really who cares what Gibbs or anyone else told him in the past. And for the record, Patrick Ramsey is still a part of Joe Gibbs' plans for '05- it's just as a second string quarterback, that's all. This is about the Redskins, not Mark Brunell or Patrick Ramsey...or even Joe Gibbs for that matter. It's about the team and the fans that support them. Joe Gibbs job, among other things, is to prepare this team. Part of that is to have, who he believes are the right players in place to give this team the best chance to win. And if you ask me, so far this year he's done a pretty damn good job. If he and the coaches think Ramsey should start taking snaps in the fourth quarter, then so be it. It's really that simple - it really is. It's nothing personal. Also, I think if it were up to Brunell he would have finished the game - but it wasn't. And exactly how is it so okay if Brunell get's hurt?? You can't be serious, can you? Seems you are taking the situation a little out of context. |
