Re: Portis Overrated?
i'd have to agree that if tatum bell was really that great he'd be getting more than 15 carries a game and wouldn't be the backup to a slow FB. Of course he's an order of magnitude cheaper than portis...

Re: Portis Overrated?
if you wouldve told any redskin fan that portis would run for 1400+ yards with 10 touchdowns this season, everyone would be talking about the great season he had,he blocks everyone in sight, and has very good hands out of the backfield(i for one would like to see a rb screen once in a while)so what exactly is this thread about.anthony chance is obviously not a skins fan because regardless of what you think of#26,he is our running back, its not like fantasy football,we are stuck(blessed)with him

Re: Portis Overrated?
Portis is sadly underappreciated by a handful of fans. The guy is on pace to break the Skins single season rushing mark. He's a tough player who does everything you could want, block, catch, etc. I'm not sure what else people want out of him. He's already giving us 110% game in, game out.

Re: Portis Overrated?
That last run by Portis to seal the game should give him some respect.

Re: Portis Overrated?
he already has all my respect. He is my favorite player on this team and he is closing in on 1200 yards. I don't know why anyone would be upset with his performances
