Again, I wanted to Nakobe Dean, I'm not saying this is the best pick, but I don't think it is the worst. I mean this is not Belichick picking a 3rd round guard at the bottom of the 1st round bad.

We needed an impact player there. We need starters this year. That was a luxury pick for a team that can't afford it.

Now if Payne gets traded and we get an extra pick, I'd probably like it more because he would be a starter at that point. But as of now he's a backup rotational piece. That's not good enough at 47 for a 7 win team.
