Re: Arrington...
LA asked to leave the Redskins organization and he did just that. In my book that makes him water under the bridge. When you leave an organization of your own free will, you don't come back. To do so implies that you failed in your preferred career path choices.
Don't look for him to come back after all the bridges he burned with the Redskins organization. Other than that, I wish him well in life. |

Re: Arrington...
Yeah I watched that last night. I like how Costas wouldn't let him run away from the questions. I like how Lavar said that there was no system to play in here, he's the coolest ! I can't wait until the 8th, he will be the reason the Giants lose that game.

Re: Arrington...
It continues to really shock me how MANY talented players through ridiculous decisions, and actions wind up on the wrong side of a coach, team or the law thus ending what is everybody's idea oa a "dream life".
"Can I supersize that for you today?"

Re: Arrington...
I do remember one awesome play LA made ... he was at Penn St. and it was something like 4th and 1. he timed the snap so well, that he jumped over the o-line, and tackled the ball carrier immediately. it was pretty sweet ... anyone else remember that?

Re: Arrington...
The Lavar leap. It made him famous. Never saw him do that in the NFL. Too bad.

Re: Arrington...
Imagine how sweet our linebacking corps would be with Washington, Pierce in the middle, and Marshall. Someone needs to develop a time machine so we can go back and keep him. Moreover, the G-men would have an awful LB corps without Pierce.

Re: Arrington...
You guys beat the shit out of us today but don't even try to say that Lavar did anything out there.
If you are happy with a tipped pass in the game that he is going to be the most pumped up for, more power to you. Pierce is the man, Lavar is a joke. |

Re: Arrington...
Go back and check my posts when we picked him up I didn't like it then and I don't like it now all I was doing was pointing out what he did for the day.

Regardless of yesterday's outcome, you are stuck with Lavar and we are not. Your only hope is that the Giants defensive coaches will do what the Redskins defensive coaches did last year and keep him on the bench. He can't play. He doesn't seem to realize it yet, but soon everyone else in New York will. He's finished.
