It's a mighty big leap to say we are now ranked 30th on defense and therefore Williams has lost his touch. How do we know it's not the injury-bug and personnel issues that have caused the defense to suffer? Archuleta and Wright are total busts. Prioleou (our nickel) went down before playing a single snap on defense. Griffin, Salave'a, Springs, Rogers, and Marshall have all been bitten by the injury bug.

If we suck next year on defense, then I'll be prepared to guess that Williams has lost his touch. Until then, I'm not willing to say a guy with Williams' resume has lost his touch based on 9 games in one season.
