Re: C Rogers Give it up!

The fact of the matter is that the Washington Redskins came today to play for dignity and pride. They did too. Minus some bung headed play calling from upstairs the team was good. The players were great! Hail to Victory!

One game makes this guy Fox a hero? BTW please explain what a 1 deep look is. When LM gets the call from GW there are options. Well there are options for the men who can move in motion. DB's have option(s) to cover or "look" or to goto man or zone. BTW I did not see our guys "biting" on to many moves. CR made a couple mistakes, but he also probably played the best game of his life in the NFL. Fox is a hero? I bet you do not remember Sam Shade playing for us.

Re: C Rogers Give it up!

Rogers looked very good yesterday. I think he had lost his confidence and got a little back yesterday. Getting burned so much early in the season had him not looking like the same player we saw last year. Hopefully the awful secondary play is behind us.

Re: C Rogers Give it up!

fox was a special teams player of the year for the lions (much harder to win league awards on a loser), so he's a hard worker. I was a bit surprised by how well he played, but after that showing, we should probably leave him back there and give him more time to prove himself, regardless of who comes back from injuries.

archuleta - 30$mill for a personal punt protector, and he can't even do that right.

rogers really stepped up today. hopefully he plays more like that and less like that other guy going forward.

This guy is a posession receiver he doesnt have any speed anymore..I could prlly keep up with him. We were basically giving them that option, and a number of times Delhomme just turned and quickly slung it to Keyshawn for an easy 5-6 yards. This guy was lined up so far back that Sean wasn't even coming over the top, he was coming underneath, and if it weren't for him Johnson would've had a much better game. It seems to me that a physical corner like Rodgers should have been playing him tight, allowing Sean to roam a little more, but nevertheless a great game by the secondary...where was this all year?? And how bout that Vernon Fox?? We need more guys with an attitude like his. He's always playing like he has something to prove and is a team first kind of guy.

Julius Peppers is a BEAST!!
Maybe that was part of the game plan. Give them the easy 5 to 6 yard plays to Keyshawn and then the QB is not throwing to Smith who is the biggest threat of the big play. If that is true it worked great as we kept Smith in check most of the game.

Re: C Rogers Give it up!

I was really happy for Rogers yesterday. Feel like he let out a lot of frustration yesterday. Happy for TheMalcolmConnection as well, who has vociferously defended Rogers all season long

Meanwhile, give it up for The Ade for laying a vicious, perfectly-timed hit on special teams

Re: C Rogers Give it up!

I def. did let out a giant "ADE!!!!!" roar.

He'll call a fair catch next time....

----------

Also, was it just me or did the o-line look stellar. JC had all day long, and when he didn't... he still made plays.

Great all-round win... Just for fun let's put on the rally caps and see what happends.

Re: C Rogers Give it up!

I think it had to do with the tight end sets we were giving them. It was a great idea by Saunders to finally do something different. It worked against a great defense too!

All I have to say is that it is ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!! That man needed to prove his worth, and he finally did. That was the FIRST game this year I wasn't screaming for them to fire him on the spot!

I didn't say he was a hero. I thought he played well. And no, they didn't bite on any moves today which was the point I was making. Are you on some sort oF medication or something? You seem to be paranoid and delusional. WTF does Sam Shade have to do with anything?
