its being reported that his agent and the players assoc. is going to try to have his contract voided, declaring him a free agent. Baltimore might also cancel the deal because TO has said he won't show up for a physical. Anyone else think seeing a grown man act like a toddler who didn;t get the cookie it wanted, as somewhat pathetic? I heard him saying in an interview that sure this was about money but it's also about me being happy and I ain't happy. He makes it sound like he's being traded to some canadian football team or something. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't Baltimore be an even bigger superbowl contender with TO there?

Sure there is, Cpayne.
TO has the right to complain, the NFL moved the day up and I'm sure he had already basicly picked out the team he wanted. He then got sent to BMore when he should be a free agent. |

If hes so mad he should fire his agent who I think is responsible for this whole ordeal. We better pray that SF does everything in their power to keep the trade viable or else he's going to Philly.

owens should have filed the proper paperwork, and then he would have been a free agent.this is not the 49ers,or ravens fault it's his agents plain and simple.there is no way he will end up in philly unless they trade with the ravens for him.

TO is one of the most talented players in the league, but I'm not afraid of him in either Philly or Baltimore. McNabb and Boller are not particularly accurate, and if TO thought Garcia couldn't get him the ball where he needs it, he's going to lose it when McNabb starts hitting his ankles during crossing routes.

Maybe he just dosen't want to wear purple?
It was obvious that he wanted to be an Eagle, he made no secret of the fact. I think he is just pissed off at the fact that the Whiners probably made sure he went ANYWHERE other than where he wanted to go. I'm just damn glad he isn't an Eagle... yet. Hope this Butler guy can cover... |

i really hope that this trade stands.why?because it would change the whole system for the wrong.why did he wait two days to decide and file a greivenance?he's pissed because the niners got him back by dumping him and his awful attitude.i hope he ends up in oakland or san diego.

I like what Al Koken said on SportsTalk 980 "Maybe I'll just file my taxes on April 17th, I don't like the 15th"
This is Owens' agents fault, if T.O. wants to get paid he should take it out of his agent's pocket

i would love to see ray lewis jolly stomp the piss out of TO and tell him to act like a man.this is all his fault and his agent's fault, all they had to do was file the paperwork they did'nt so tough luck TO.

TO needs to keep his damn mouth shut & just play football...!!
The Ravens are in for a rude awakening when TO checks in for mini camp. I give him 1 season & he'll be out of there... :o

it may get ugly enough to where the ravens end up trading TOto the eagles.if that happens, look out in 2004 cause the eagles and ravens will play during the 2004 season.
