I have never gotten why Skins fans bear so much animosity towards Johnson. He played great for us then, imo, got a raw deal as part of that whole 2000 free agency fiasco.

Of course now that he's a Cowboy I'll be rooting against him....still, seems like some people just despise him for no good reason.

There D got him a ring in Tampa, he sure didn't do squat, he's good for dink and dunk....and lots of INT's

They benched him this year for a reason....HE CAN'T PLAY! He's on the farewell tour, with a clipboard!
He still was good enough to get them a ring and probably could've gotten us a ring if it had not been for the 2000 Snyder spending spree. He is quite the underrated quarterback that can be deadly to teams who think just like you. The guy knows how to play the game.

So.....your saying......we still have a chance right?lol. I like him so much I just hope he gets a job somewhere. Preferably one we are playing this year so we can clobber the team.

The Ramsey trade worked out for us after all. WE got a 6th rnd pick right? Who'd we draft? Was it Golston w/that pick?
If Collins leaves lets bring Ramsey in to hold the clipboard!
(Mods: a poll idea: Who is more likely to come back, Lavar or Ramsey?)

They perhaps just want Johnson for his veteran leadership to aasist with Romo's development. Bledsoe had an inflated opinion of himself and still think's he can play, he wasn't going to stay, so Johnson for them is a choice for his experience.

It was actually Reed Doughty that we selected with the pick netted for Ramsey. At least Doughty is still on the Skins, so by that measure, we got the better end of that deal with the Jets.

You can't blame Brad for going to Dallas. They are paying him nice $ to be a back-up. What else is he going to do that's going to pay him more?

He loved being a Redskin, but was treated poorly, basically losing his job not due to performance, but due to Snyder wanting to play Jeff George. Imagine the stability we would've had at the position had he stayed in town. I'd take him in a heartbeat over Brunnell right now.
He and Brunell do the same things right now with the safe short passing game. The difference is that Johnson gets intercepted in doing so, and Brunell doesn't. Both are ideal backups at this point in their careers.

He was one of the most accurate (translation:good) QBs in league history. I think he can still play but he was flat out awful last year. I think if Dallas calls on him he will be much more successful than he was in Minnesota this year.

He's been underrated his whole career, but if 2006 is any indication (it may or may not be), he's at the end of the line.

johnson had a bad deal in 2006. no WRs, no TEs, and a backup RB. I wouln't say his stats in 2006 were completely accurate to his ability.

Ramsey may be going to backup Cutler in Denver or to the Texans. Either way he is a backup. As for Johnson, I did like him, thought he did well, you have to admit he was a better choice then George. But hopefully he is crap if he has to come in for an injured Homo. Glad to see the Cowboys are over paying has beens and never was. Hope they get the same result we have had the past few years and get ridiculed in the papers.
