I kind of find the Holcomb move interesting. Does it mean McNabb might not be ready to start the season? Are they not comfortable with AJ Feely as the backup/possible opening day starter?

And what about the Bills QB situation. Might Carr go there to back-up Losman?

I wouldn't rule it out. There's a lot of Carr love around the league. I guess if you get your ass beat to a bloddy pulp for 5 seasons, poor play can be swept under the rug.

Not to beat a dead horse too bad, but Carr never did anything in Houston that Ramsey didn't do for us here. I think both guys can be very good backups somewhere, or argueably a low end starter on a team where the passing game is not the main focal point of the team.

I think Ramsey is marginally a better player than Carr.

AJ feeley sucks. nothing's changed, he's still the #3.

i'd argue that last point. carr's deep balls don't get thrown like javelins (no arc) or get intercepted as much. of course, carr's only plays well when he's down by 4 touchdowns and in no danger of being able to win the game, but that's a whole other issue.

I wouldn't be comfortable with AJ Feeley as third key at a 24 hour Car Wash. There are people out there who are questioning the Texans faith in Matt Schaub. Matt Schaub is AJ Feeley, with the possible exception that he can throw.

Re: Espn:Eagles and Bills talk trade involving LB Spikes

I hate to say it but the Eagles got a great deal there.

Spikes is good and Holcomb has actually played well as a starter in the past, something that's good to have in a backup.

With Garcia leaving, they needed a good backup to the injury-prone McNabb.

I wonder if the Bills are unloading these guys to (over)pay for Dock.

Holcolmb and Spikes for Darwin Walker and a late round pick.

Wtf is up with the Bills? I didn't think I'd see the day when a team was willing to give up so much for...Darwin Walker.
But hey, they have D.Dock! Way to go Bills.

The Bills are going backwards. First they get rid of Travis Henry. Then they get rid of McGhee. They lose Nate Clements and London Fletcher.
Then over pay for Dockery. This team is in big trouble.
Yeah in just one off-season they have lost alot of starters and veteran leadership. It seems so odd that they would over-haul a team that looked like it was closing the gap in the AFC East last year, i'm confused.
