Salisbury is still a tool for his trash talking during the 2005 season. He couldn't even man up and follow through with his naked walk from NY to DC. What a loser.

Gus Frerotte didn't win jack in terms of playoff games for us, but then again he didn't have the collective talent like Brunell or JC had/has now did he? Brunell/JC had/has Santana Moss, Brandon Llyod, Randle, El, Cooley, Patten, etc to throw to. Gus only had Westbrook, Connell, and Leslie Shephard. Gus had a cannon of an arm. I much rather have Gus Frerotte of 95-96' than what we had in MB the past few years. THe team chemistry thing was just about saying maybe we are so loaded at skilled positions that egos might have taken over and messed the team up. Maybe this stuff about how great it is in the clubhouse is all spin. Just a thought. I mean what else can explain why a team that on paper looks rather formidable, perfrom so poorly? Has to be more than one factor is my point about everything. And Gus did throw for 300+ yards more than once, a few times if I am not mistaken, but I know it is more than once.

I would take MB 10 YEARS AGO over get off the bus gus any day off the week! MB is much older than gus was, he was suposed to be in his prime.....NEVER HAPPENED. Can't think of a dumber QB in our history, that was dumb enough to get a concusion by slamming his OWN HEAD INTO THE GOAL POST?

Skinnsfann242, i have a very simular feeling about this year. I think things could really take off. I want to see what G. Williams is gonna do now that he was called out in the Tom Friend artical - that is is he going to step up and not play politics and he going to pay more respect to the players on his defence. I think i might be more worried about our o line then our d line because if Smauals gets hurt we could be in a very very bad spot. But overall i think everything is in lined up well to really take off. (Just wish we had Ramsey to play back up)
