Re: Dan Patrick Leaving ESPN
Yeah I think I'll pass. I've already done on-air stuff in the past. Not no more

Re: Dan Patrick Leaving ESPN
Best news of the week.
I won't miss him. I'd occasionally tune into his radio show with his bed-buddy Keith Olberman and I'd always regret it and change the station. I can't stand Dan or Keith. When I listen to ESPN Radio, I expect sports talk, not the latest gossip on Keith's childish feud with Bill O'Reilly or bashing of the President. Now if we could just get rid of Stuart Scott...ESPN would be great. |

Who is Dan Patrick and why does he matter?

Re: Dan Patrick Leaving ESPN
I think they should bring back the Fabulous Sports Babe. I will never stop beating that drum.
In terms of SC anchors, Kilborn is so far above all the others that they should have just scrapped the show after he left. He made Dan and Keith look like a couple of AV club members. He's the Val Kilmer character and Keith is Kent from that movie with the popcorn at the end. Real Genius? "This is Jesus, Kent."

Quote:
"It is God!" I agree, CK was the best. Actually all of them started out really good but somewhere along the lines they become actors rather than anchors. Once you hit celebrity status you seem to lose focus on what got you there.

I always thought Patrick did a good job but he was the straight guy for guys like Kilborn.
