Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)

Know what, in the interests of keeping the quality of this site up, I might consider locking/deleting this thread. This is in no way a criticism of the person who started the thread, it's just that this is SUCH a bad rumor that I think even having the thread on the homepage hurts the site in some way. Just a suggestion.

Not what I heard. Word on the street is that your third interview didn't go so well, and you are now lagging behind Fred Flintstone and Connie Mack. Argh, this coaching BS is so annoying. Mods, by all means delete this post.

Some are specualating that The Redskins are gearing up to make a run at Captain Nemo for the HC job and that if it pans out, they intend to play all their games 20,000 leagues under the sea.

i'd sniff it in a heartbeat if he came here.

Ok, lets say they do win the SB and he now has four. What are his chances of getting another one next year? I say pretty good chance that they could go back to back with the way they are playing and add the fact they are 15 mil (I think) under the cap they have plenty of room to keep FA and sign a few FA's. Its scary to think that they could even be better next year.

I think he is the best coach in the NFL. HOWEVER, I wonder what his record is w/out Tom Brady as his QB? In the end, it always comes down to players. And if he came here Brady isn't coming with him.

Re: Bill Belichick possible candidate (Pro Football Talk Speculation)

I really think that there needs to be a ban on this forum on PFT as a viable source. Normally I would say that this is just one bad story, but since my time here I have seen countless subpar rumor reports coming from that site.

Now I know that rumors are very sketchy to begin with but at the same time a good rumor at least has some viability, as seen with JLC's Mooch theory (Though I'm starting to think that someone leaked that to JLC to gauge how the fans would respond).

SURGEON GENERAL'S WARNING: Quitting PFT Now Greatly Reduces Serious Risks to Your Health.

I don't know what is being smoked by some of the people in here but if you think that Bill is going to leave the PATS and come to Washington your not dreaming your on some pretty powerful stuff I'd say.
