I have zero problems with Reed going in, he's definitely Hall worthy. I agree that what ticked people off is someone saying Monk should have waited even longer. The guy has been hanging for 8 years, enough is enough.

Dude, chill. Nobody said Reed shouldn't be in, only that, between Monk and Reed, Monk deserved it more this year.

Well you might have added this line below what you posted from what Prisco said:

They picked the wrong defensive end and the wrong receiver Saturday. That isn't to say that Monk and Dean aren't worthy of strong consideration, but on this day the two better candidates got left off.

Not sure why the guy is an idot for his feelings about these players its not like he was comparing him to Brandon Lloyd.

I think the Irvin selection over Monk proved that the best candidate doesn't always get in.
