VC is not a talent evaluator, he knows nothing of how to really build through the draft, and I think that is probably the wedge that kept GW from taking the job, he probably wanted a say in how we attack the draft, but with Cerrato in there it allows DS to play GM as well, so GW wasnt going to happen, remember that was why Marty was given his walking papers after 1 season, because he wouldn't let Snyder in on personnel decisions. I also remember a quote right after Spurrier was hired, apparently he went up to Snyder to talk to him about the draft and Snyder told him to basically take a hike and just worry about coaching the offense or something to that effect.
