Just when you thought spygate was over!! This makes me the biggest sceptic of the "dynasty" that is the Patriots. For 8 years we have wondered how they do it. Chalked it up under heart and deemed Brady as a future HOFer. The Pats are frauds through and through and even though he doesnt have it, there was a tape of the Rams walkthrough. There had to have been, and why not? If they had been doing it since day one like Billicheck said, then they did have one. I hereby denounce the Patriots and will submit for your approval that in 2008 they will not be as good as before because it will be Brady's first year of not knowing the Defensive signals beforehand. Not only that, but there will be defensive earsets. If the Pats win 3 super bowls in the next four years, I will see them as a dynasty. So far, in my book, any superbowl between 2000-2008 does not count and I will refuse to see them as a dynasty.
Did you guys see the Bill Belichick south park episode?

"before the last super bowl, Bill Belichick got his players together and said, just this once, let's not cheat. Do you know what happened? THEY LOST!"

haha...classic.

ESPN - One tape turned over by Walsh shows Patriots also stole offensive signals - NFL

One tape turned over by Walsh shows Patriots also stole offensive signals

From Day 1 of the Spygate saga in September, the controversy over New England's illicit videotaping practices has centered on the Patriots' efforts to steal their opponents' defensive signals. But the tapes delivered via FedEx to NFL headquarters in New York on Thursday morning also include evidence of an effort by New England to steal offensive signals, which would broaden the extent of the team's surveillance operation.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and staff members began viewing the eight tapes within hours of their long-awaited delivery, in anticipation of Tuesday's scheduled interview with former Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh. As part of an indemnification pact reached last month with the league, Walsh agreed to turn over any videotapes or related materials he had from his tenure with the team.

Perhaps the surprise entry on the list of videotaping documents Walsh turned over to the league was tape No. 3, labeled "OFF Signals" from New England's game against the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 7, 2001. That is the only tape labeled as such on a copy of the list obtained by ESPN.com. Walsh's attorney, Michael Levy, confirmed it was the lone footage in Walsh's possession of offensive coaches' signaling from the sidelines.

The "punishment" by the league : "It's like getting a ticket for going too fast on a road a week ago and they changed the speed limit today"

I could care less. In the end this crap did not have an outcome of any games. It's time to move on.

Punished enough? In my opinion that team should have been suspended from playing last year and had no right to be playing at all, or make it all the way to the Superbowl for that matter. I'm just VERY happy they lost, because they didn’t deserve to win.

According to a source, there were many more tapings (click link to read about the source). How do we know this did not affect the outcome of any of our games? If they have the audacity to tape 8 games why wouldnt they tape other games, including ones against us?

IMO they were nowhere near punished enough. They lost a draft pick. woo hoo.... they still had one in the top 10 from SF. And all that money???!!! in this league that is chump change. I hope more punishment comes from all of this.

Re: Walsh to hand over tapes

The question I have with all the film out or avalable if teams really want to try and steel another teams signals can't they just study other films? With that said if you look back at the way they they took our D apart it looked like they knew where to attack the D on almost every play.
