Important Match-up against the Lions

BRUNELL has the best game of his career and throws for 400+ yards! ....well....anyone goign to argue with me that the guy is due?!?! Even the worst QBs have flashes or stardom, and Brunell was supposed to be good. Lets see him light it up for a change.

Lions DT, Shaun Rogers, has had a really good year to date getting several sacks from the DT position and getting a LOT on inside pressure on QBs. If he does that this week and flushes Brunell from the pocket with any degree of regularity, that is going to limit the Skins' pass offense more than just a little bit.

The center and the two guards MUST limit Rogers penetration and cannot allow him to bullrush them into Brunell's lap. Keep an eye on that aspect of the game on passing downs.

I hope Shaun Rogers isn't lined up against Ray Brown. I still haven't gotten over how Alex Brown was getting in Brunell's face in the Chicago game. Let's face it , Jon Jansen is sorely missed. Randy Thomas has been quite this year, and Dockery needs to stay penalty free for us to win this game. We had 10 penalties for 82 yards last week. Pathetic.
