Re: Status of Randy Thomas
WOW! You're right - in fact, I think if it wasn't for the fact that we outscored the Cards, we would have lost easily.

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
hahahahaha, i was about to say the sameee thing.. hahaha Yeah, and if we didnt out play the cardinals, we would have lost easily.. I mean duh, thats the point of the game, to score TDS and get as many turnovers as you can.. I still dont understand some of these redskins fan with their notions about how our team is lucky or something.. NO PEOPLE, we are good, and we are clicking at a PERFECT time in the season. We usually dont statrt seeing production like this unitl at least halfway through the season, hell we got rookies that we grabbed in LATE rounds make HUGE plays, and our Vets are stepping up when needed. This is the formula of a superbowl contender. The Giants did the same thing last year. Alot of their rookies stepped up and hepl contribute in wins and the vets played like vets. Even if we dont get to the superbowl, teams are going to HAVe to respect us after this year, because i cant imagine how good we will be with a year or two under our belts with the same system that the players are actually grasping. What's going on with the Rams and al saunders?? and the jags and greg williams?? I think Snyder and Vinny deserve a little more credit then they have been getting for making great moves, but they didnt make much sense to anyone on the outside. It's such a relief to see our team playing like this... Tooo bad we arent playing the patriots again this year... I would run the fucking score up on them assholes if we did. then be like, "your whole team is tom brady, when he's gone, y'all arent shit" and its true We showed we can win even with our backup QB stepping in, and all them injuries we had last year and losing sean. No other team in the nfl could have done what we didn last year. WE deserve alot more respect than what we get, but im glad we dont because our guys play wiht chips on their shoulders, and I love it.

I'm tired of reading stuff like that too. If this, if that. Bottom line is crap like that goes both ways. If Heyer doesn't commit that penalty the game is 31-17. Who cares what might have happened... all that matters is what DID happen. |

exactly. that's football. You could say that with ANY game that is played. thas what happens in sports, things go each way and thats how a winner is determined. I really wish Devin Thomas could have gotten that TD because that would have been awesome to see our rookie WR on a highlight reel. At least we know he can score and he's got some burners

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
Doesn't it seem like most of the time we run to the right, the backside pursuit is making the tackle? I'm not sure whose responsibility that is, or if it falls on Portis for being indecisive. Just something I've noticed.

When Jansen came in, it seems as if the problem of going right with the run was resolved. Or was that not the case? Jansen was down field making blocks. |
