Re: When Will Jason Taylor Produce???
Shaun Alexander has not scored a touchdown yet. We need to cut him. What a waste of money.

Re: When Will Jason Taylor Produce???
I think the most important thing is that Jason Taylor play more then just this year. As long as he does and returns to form even some what I will be happy.

Re: When Will Jason Taylor Produce???
I'm fairly pleased with the way he has played this season. He is on a new team so I was going to give him until at least mid-season before I passed judgment, but since he's all nicked up I think I will have to wait until the playoffs at least.

Re: When Will Jason Taylor Produce???
The guy hasnt been healthy for a single game yet so I think its safe to say that he will produce when he's healthy. Hindsight is 20/20 and nobody could predict how the line would play so it was a good move to get JT when he was available.

Re: When Will Jason Taylor Produce???
When he is healthy. I think he feels a lot of pressure to be the DPOY again, but he won't get close if he can't move. He should sit a couple more weeks and come back for the DallASS game, just in time to put NFC East qb's on their butt

Re: When Will Jason Taylor Produce???
is it just me, or does it appear he has lost some size? i remember this guy being massive in stature. he looks like hes campbells size now. maybe dancing with the stars caused him to lose some weight?

But at the same time, being on dancing with the stars saved his season. That knee injury in the preseason would have been the end of most players careers. We need to get Malcolm Kelly on Dancing with the Stars.

Re: When Will Jason Taylor Produce???
Jason Taylor is producing. You have to remeber that he played for one team for his whole career. Not only did the team center its defensive scheme around his skills but also he is not a straight up run stopper either. His best quality is that he sets the edge. Meaning he is very good at keeping runs inside the linbackers to prevent big runs around the corner. This also shuts down screens and reverses. It would be great to get two sacks a game from him but I would rather have him forcing runners into London Fletcher and Rocky McIntosh. The batted balls are a reflection of what he does well. And most importantly as an ex-athlete I will say this once again: YOU CAN'T FAIRLY JUDGE AN ATHLETE UNTIL HE IS 100% HEALTHY. Anything outside of 100%, the player should be comended for playing through pain. The guy could've lost a leg for Christs sake. It's a long season. We're 4 - 2. Lets just cheer these guys on and hope everyone stays healthy and focused on the task at hand!
