Guys I think it's unrealistic and unlikely that Snyder will completely recede into the background, kick his feet up on his desk and say I'll see you guys in December. That ain't happening. EVERY owner is involved to some extent.

What I think is different this time around is Snyder won't exert pressure to bend the GM's will to what he wants and thinks should be the direction. Snyder is now one voice in the overall process of making things click. He's no longer, if I could use this term, Alpha and Omega.

Was interesting to note that today he was nowhere near the podium, someone did say he was in the front row but that's a departure from his norm.
