Re: Redskins Roster By Position
i agree with the analysis that we need tackles for the oline, and that the interior (guards and center) will be fine as is.

Re: Redskins Roster By Position
Move Daryl Young back to Linebacker. God knows we're going to need people to play the position.

Re: Redskins Roster By Position
So many holes to fill, and so many question marks. There are a lot of young players on the roster that we just don't know about. If even a few of them can step up and be quality starters, then we may have a very good team here. If none of them step up, we are in BIG trouble.
I will be very happy with this draft if we get 2 Tackles, a Middle Linebacker, and a 3rd down receiving back; especially if he can return kicks. Anything else would be gravy. |

It will be interesting to see what the new regime can do anything with Marko Mitchell?

Re: Redskins Roster By Position
Everybody keeps blaming the volatility of the roster on Zorn when it was really Cerrato. Zorn was a bad coach, but the roster makeup made him look worse than he really is. I'd like to know how much input Zorn had in shaping the roster the last two years. Vinny, don't call when you want a job. And to say that the interior of the O-Line is just fine....well, remember all those defensive guys swarming to Jason Campbell right up the middle of the line!

I'm not sold on the FS position, and that should be the 2nd need we address in a deep FS class. Someone like Reshad Jones, Major Wright, would allow Landry to move back to his natural SS position. We have no starting FS on our team and that needs to be addressed in the draft.

Re: Redskins Roster By Position
^ I have a slight feeling that we could get Eric Berry with our first overall pick, especially if Okung goes to detroit.
I could then see us trading Rocky and andre carter for Jermon Bushrod and a 3rd. Thats our LT, then I could see us trading Jason Campbell for Willie Colon and a 6th, which would then be our RT. we can use that 3rd rounder and get Brandon Spikes, use our fourth and get a guard or tackle, use our 5th and get a DE like Brandon Deadrick, and use our 6th and get freddie barnes the WR from bowling green receiver thats a lot like rod smart. then we draft Micah Johnson the MLB from kentucky, and call it a draft.
