Guiness draft pulled slow by a proper Irish bar keep--Brendan's on 35th street; Freddy's in Prospect Heights. I went to Ireland last summer for my honeymoon, and you really can't get Guiness here, but I can dream... (Ireland kicks ass, btw!)

In summer I drink a lot of Cuba Libres and Carona with lime. Tequilla shots are always good--I like Sauza, but I haven't tried that many kinds.

I dig all the microbrews, though my standard is Brooklyn Lager, from the Brooklyn Brewing Company. They bottle a lot of their beer in Utica, NY, but they have abrewery in Williamsburgh Brooklyn where they do the kegs and lots of specalty beers. Good stuff.

When in a pinch, I'll drink (almost!) anything. Haven't been near St. Ides since "the incident."

"The incident" LOL....Nothing beats a Cuba Libre on a hot summer night...except maybe a good Piña Colada. I became hooked on Mike's hard lemonade two years ago. Have one (at least) every Sunday during football season. But for some bizarre reason that's the only time I have it.
