Been there done that.

I'll go back and read the other stories after I post mine. lol. There are some key things to know....

1. Make sure you have a GOOD doctor.
2. Make sure he's liberal with the medicine.
3. Don't watch.

I worked in a hospital so i knew who was good and who was not. There are two places these can be performed.... one being in the operating room and the other in the doctors office. Mine was performed in the doctors office as an outpatient.

The choice was somewhat given to me in regards to who should get the deed done. After the women gets the surgery you'll wait several weeks before sex. After the man has the surgery it's only about a few days.

I was taken to the procedure room and an IV was started. Then Haldol was put through the IV to relax me. Then when it was about time the doctor came in and administered localized pain medicine via shot into the lower stomach area. It was not horribly painful but it was not comfortable either. He then cut small opening into the scrotum and pulled the tube out that the sperm travels. He then put clamps on and cut in between and burned the two ends so they would not find a way to reconnect. Then he sutured me all back up. You'll have to put it on ice for 2-3 days constantly plus taking pain medicine. By day 3 1/2 I was back in action.

If at all posible I'd recommend having it done in the operating room where they would knock you out, but most won't do that. The key is relaxing. Do your best.
