Re: Around The NFL week 2
In other news, looks like Carlos Rogers is being....well....Carlos Rogers. Except now, the new and improved Carlos bounces INTs off his head as well as his hands.

Yeah, and he choked by getting burnt by some Jesse Holle dude. Thank god we don't have him anymore so that he'll bite on a few MORE double moves on Monday Night.

Re: Around The NFL week 2
Actually it was Whitner who had the deep coverage and got beaten by Holley.

Re: Around The NFL week 2
The video looks like Carlos had run contain, and the Safety was supposed to be overtop, and the Safety jumped hard on the run. Hard to say what Carlos' responsibility was from that video.

Re: Around The NFL week 2
Nope, as much as people want Rogers to fail it wasn't his fault. He actually had a pretty good game and did some hitting, just ask Witten and Romo.

Brooks breaks Romo’s rib, Whitner/Rogers whiff on key play | 49ers Hot Read
By the way, Ahmad Brooks (Perry Brooks son) is the one who broke Romo's rib. Despite Rogers getting burned ( I guess I was wrong) he still had a pretty good game.

Re: Around The NFL week 2
Has anyone else noticed that dropped Int's are the worse possible thing that can happen on defense. I have no idea what it is about them but it seems to me every time a defense drops an Interception the best they can hope for afterwards is only giving up a third or fourth down conversion. I've observed this phenomenon all the way down to the high school level.

Re: Around The NFL week 2
Not that you guys might care or have not heard but NFL Network basically said they contacted the league and unless it can be proven a player is faking injury nothing can be done.
So..... I thought it would be interesting if every team the Giants play from here on out has someone faint or fall out with muscle cramps on every play. Especially if they are moving the ball well. |
