Boy was he wrong! And, for the record, so was I. I said it wouldn't happen so quickly and I got the trade parameters wrong. So let me first take the anti-CultBrennan59 approach and just apologize for getting that wrong.

In my opinion, I'm still not totally convinced the gap between Griffin and Tannehill is huge. That said, it's only my opinion and we absolutely had to get a QB (or two) this offseason.

Giving up a 2014 1st is pretty irrelevant to me at this point. I mean we're all operating under the assumption (I should say all of us who are down on the trade) it seems that that pick will also be a top #10 pick. Let's hope it's not.

I don't like giving up this year's 2nd. They could done a lot with that. Use it and our 3rd to move up some, use it to move down, or just use it.

It can be said now that Orakpo was part of a possible three-team scenario that would have landed the Rams picks and a current WR, the Redskins the #2 pick and possibly a later pick, and the third team as a pass rusher. The rumor was San Diego and Vincent Jackson, though to be fair I never understood or got clarity on how that would work.
SS, I think you called it pretty well when you posted a week or so ago stating we were "all in" for RG3. The whole Tannehill talk I would answer with this, why would the Browns up there offer and Skins would follow upping theirs to get the number 2 pick if Tannehill is close or just as capable? I think the choices of the Skins and the Browns are a testament of just how uncomfortable both are with taking Tannehill at 4 or 6. Gotta assume both thought Tannehill seemed to have alot more questions than RG3
