These are the states which are solid blue. In other words, Romney doesn't have a chance at winning them. They put the President at 247 electoral votes. 270 is the magic number.
Washington Oregon California Minnesota Illinois New York New Jersey Connecticut Maryland Washington D.C. Delaware Maine Rhode Island Vermont Mass Pennsylvania (leaning blue) Not included in this scenario is New Hampshire (4 electoral votes). Currently Obama has a double digit lead in the state.
