Probably to Union Station.
Then you'd have to take the Metro to the Largo Town Center (or Morgan Blvd) stop. Its on the blue line. Amtrak usually only hits major cities and the closest one to Fedex is DC.

I've never taken the Metro on gameday but normally its alright. I'd imagine on Gameday it'd probably be a bit crowded.
From Union Station to Largo Town Center/Morgan Blvd is about a 45 minute ride. Plus you have to transfer trains, from the Red Line to the Blue Line at Metro Center.

Yes, Union Station is where you want to get off Amtrak. I live by Union Station; the metro is packed on gamedays. Give yourself extra time for the metro ride and the walk from the station to the stadium (a bit over.5 miles if I recall correctly).

Actually what Amtrak line is it? http://www.amtrak.com/northeast-train-routes Some trains stop in Springfield or Alexandria. Might be quicker to go from there?
Google it to figure out the trains stops. Many of the DC area stops are probably metro assessable. From there go to the metro trip planner site to get metro time estimates. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Re: How Close Does Amtrak Come To Fedex Field?
When I go to games I hit up the Franconia-Springfield metro station (blue line), and take it all the way to the Morgan Boulevard station, which is on the blue line as well (approx. 1 mile from Fedex, roughly a 10 minute walk). If you take Amtrak in, take it into Union Station, get on the Metro there on the red line, then switch to the blue line at Metro Center and take that to Morgan Boulevard. Like D-rave said give yourself extra time, because Metro does track work on almost every non-holiday weekend and you can suffer on average about 20 minutes of delays. That's been the average delay for me when I've taken Metro in the past and they have delays.

Amtrack goes to the "New Carrollton station": 1 or 2 exits past Fed Ex on the beltway.Don't know if you can catch a bus or another train (Metro) to the stadium.
Amtrak - Stations - New Carrollton, MD (NCR) it is close enough to catch a cab without killing you.
