Point is, I'm just tired of waiting. Seems like it never takes other teams so damn long to just contend for the division, or even a wildcard spot. I do hope we pull it together, but I do believe that the coaching staff is leaning way too much on Griffins playmaking ability, and not as much on executing a good gameplan that mixes some stuff up. Our success seems much more ad lib than anything, and I don't think that long term that is the answer. RG3 won't be able to sustain that, or cover up for so many other areas for too much longer. Our offensive line is still a concern whether people see it or not, RG3 has been pressured and slammed PLENTY, but he puts points on the board, so it gets overshadowed. Its still an area that needs severe coaching up, or upgrading, or both. |

And I think that's how it's gonna go.

Nobody cares if we lose know matter how good or bad the qb is? Coaches deserve credit when they win - not when they have a great qb? Shanny got roasted with Mcnabb. Got roasted for rex/beck. Now he has a stud qb and is 3-5 and what? Credit for losing with a great offense? Lol.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
Anyhow, I will say this while I don't think it'd be a good idea to fire Mike Shanahan (though like I've said before he's not necessarily the guy I would have hired). I think it'd be an even bigger mistake to get rid of Bruce Allen. So if they insist (though I know they don't) on making some huge move, I sure hope they hold on to Bruce Allen

Yes. I think Allen has done a great job with what he was given.

That rg3 was drafted and developed by the shanaclan should not be an excuse for a mediocre at best football team it should be an indictment. The football team, that is. I give credit where credit is due for rg3. The first rousing success of the shanahan era. Taking just three years.

Great? I'm an Allen fan, but if he's done great, what superlatives are left for Thomas dimitroff or Martin Matthew? Stupendous?
