He paid off the victims family. The white suit he was wearing that night went missing. I am not referring specifically to you, but I feel that Ray Lewis is convicted in the court of public opinion because of his whole NFL persona. I guess to answer your original question, there are people that still revere Michael Vick (although not as much as Lewis), and I could see myself asking the same question. Ironically enough, I think Vick's career suffered more than those players that actually killed another human being (Little, Stallworth).
