Re: Carlos Rogers

I think Rogers will develop fine. I just hope Harris has a good year to take some of the pressure off Rogers. I agree that Griffin is looking good in the preseason. There was a Steelers running play in the first quarter when the Bus got the ball and ran through a hole, then suddenly stopped for a second standing straight up, and fell. It turned out you just couldn't see Griffin behind the pile bringing him down. Best thing about our defense is that there are never less than three guys on a tackle and usually 4 or 5.

Ryan Leaf Kicks Ass.

Rogers is showing some talent and I like his attitude. Williams said he believes Rogers will be a shut down corner and a playmaker. Griffin is a beast and not only did he stuff up front, but he flattened that RB in the Redzone to save the first down and he had to chase him down. That was a Killer hit. Anyone else notice that one?

According to the links you're right. That's not what I remember though. As a matter of fact, Schottenheimer was the reason Deion called it quits and banked 8 million. Right?

Right, so that's why Deion only played in 2000 and walked before Marty came along in 2001. Once Marty was signed as a head coach that was it for Sanders

It's funny how Marty didn't care if Deon was Snyder's "must have player", he got rid of him anyway because he played lousy ........guess that is what makes Marty a good coach he thinks of the team first, and no owner scares him, not even Snyder........

Back to the point--I think Rogers looked good, in that we didn't hear his name too much. He had a great tackle on the Bus early in the run game.

Agree about the Griffin play, Canthetuna--he chased that thing down from the DT sopt. That's a pro-bowl type play, and one not lost on his teammates, for sure. He's really palying with fire. Love to see it.

Where was Philip Daniels? Don't remember seeing too much of him...
