Jesus Himself said in John 14:6

You may not believe and clearly many folks don't believe but the evidence I've seen in my small life trumps people opinions.

I'm not wrong to say I am 100% right. I'm a faithful and humble follower of Jesus the Christ.

I never argue about my religion or try to beat people in the head with Jesus. Never works and Jesus gets bruised. I just believe and share my faith and tesitmony.

Like I said above those folks are not teaching what is taught in the Bible.

peace and prayers guys!

By saying that someone is 100% wrong for not beleiving the way you do is beating us with your ideas. It is a aggresive statement.

If you said the earth was flat and I said it was round and you are 100% wrong.
Is that an aggressive statement?

If you are sinking in the water and I tell you you will 100% die if you don't axcept a rescue.
Is that an aggressive statement?

I say not but I didn't say it of course to be aggressive.
peace and prayers to you

Re: Jesus Camp:

SBF, what would you say about all of the bible verses and other gospels that were omitted by Constantine and the Council of Nicaea? You understand that there was a bit of 'picking and choosing' with God's Word by human beings, right?

Guys, we're seeing this starting to take a disturbing turn.

Just remember to keep things civil as we have in the past and we'll be all good.

You gotta be kidding me right? Not sure I roll with SBF totally on what he said but nowhere was it aggressive.

Aggressive might not be the best choice of words, but I understand what he's saying.

The Bible, and the concept of the Holy Trinity are obviously loaded with area's that spur Hot debate. It is the ultimate catch-22, and has been that way for millenia. That won't change any time soon. It comes down to faith. Do I, or do I not, see enough evidence to believe? For me, the interesting part is NOBODY knows for sure the validity of belief, or the lack thereof until it's to late to repair, if you are wrong.
For me, it's easy, Via con Dios

Re: Jesus Camp:

Right. While I'm a believing, following Christian, I also know there is no way I'm going to prove someone otherwise who doesn't believe what I believe, because it's so deeply ingrained. Likewise, there is no way someone ELSE is going to convince me the other way.

It's fun to hear other viewpoints, if anything as an additional facts and beliefs that are at least interesting. It's when people start attacking viewpoints that can be neither proven nor discounted is when a problem lies.

Re: Jesus Camp:

The rapture is coming folks, prepare yourself.

On a more serious note, all religions are so contradictory it's hard to take them seriously. If sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true. It sounds like a scam unlike any other. A gigantic pyramid scheme. It has always been forced down people's throats and will continue to be. They have to utilize gorilla marketing because if people ever start thinking and questioning the whole thing comes crumbling.

Religion aught to be simple, elegant, and self explanatory. Reading the bible is like reading horror story sprinkled with common sense moral verses here and there.

I really feel sorry for the children. They'll make a perfect non-thinking mouth piece for their brand of Christianity.

To paint the religious world with one brush is a gross inaccuracy, as it would be to try and do the same to all the worlds people. Many flavors, of which some are good, some not so good.
It has become very popular since the release of the "Davinci Code" to attribute that which we do not agree, or don't want to agree (as it may require change we do not want to give) to some new Demonic conspiracy of the Pope and his regime.
While the Catholic church certainly has had it's problems over the years, it does not make it bad as a whole.
Like I said in my earlier post, at this time, NOBODY can prove what is the correct path to follow.
Amusingly, we will be the first to know if we are wrong.

And what brush might that be? I am wasn't talking about the people who practice religion, rather the whole notion of religion. There isn't a single religion without contradictions and that something I can't get past, especially since god is suppose to be omnipotent and divine. I can't prove or disprove the existence of god, but I can say religion is manure flavored ice-cream on pretty cone. It is highly illogical, contradictory, and breads fear. It is evil as it divides.

Re: Jesus Camp:

I am not religious, but I know a lot of very reasonable people who have found it to be very uplifting. So I say, whatever floats your boat. As for the nutjobs who use religion as mechanism to hate others who don't believe in the same God, I think it's quite possible that they would have a little crazy even if they didn't have religion in their lives.

So, I think it's kind of hard to say religion, religious people, etc. are good or bad. Like most institutions, religion can be used positively or it can be abused. Like all political parties, every religion is filled with contradictions and followed by all sorts of people.
