And of course once they get up in his face then you have a mismatch with either Pierre or Deseaon, or Reed over the middle.

In my view the best thing Crowder had going from him is he didn't play in a spread so NFL routes and terminology won't be new to him. But even more then that his quickness should be an asset in special teams punt/kick return. If he can challenge Roberts for the slot? Awesome. I like the kid, anyone with the last name Crowder is good with me. |

Re: Draft Reaction
https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...gton-redskins/ Some of the good.....
Round 4: Arie Kouandjio, OG, Alabama Kouandjio is the anti-Brandon Scherff in that he doesn’t look like an athlete on the field, but he was extremely productive against the top level of college football. The Alabama left guard allowed six total pressures all season and finished behind only Laken Tomlinson in pass blocking efficiency. He has his limitations and looked labored when asked to move out into space, but he got the job done when called upon. Depth Chart Fit: Could see him stealing a starting spot from either Shawn Lauvao or Chris Chester. Round 5: Martrell Spaight, LB, Arkansas Came on strong as a run defender at the end of the year with four straight highly graded positively graded games to finish the season. His 11.6 run stop percentage was the 11th best at inside linebacker in the class. Spaight likely fell this far because he was a liability at times in coverage. The Arkansas linebacker’s .99 yards per coverage snap was 34th out of 41 starting inside linebackers in the draft. Depth Chart Fit: Will push for a starting job, but likely a backup year one and a special teams player. Round 6: Kyshoen Jarrett, S, Virginia Tech Graded out just around average against both the run and pass. More of a box safety at Virginia Tech where he spent 54% of his snaps within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage, 16% at corner, and 30% as a deep safety. Jarret’s 7.9 run stop percentage was the fourth best at the position in the draft. Depth Chart Fit: With little talent at safety I could see him getting snaps with Dashon Goldson, Duke Ihenacho, and Jeron Johnson his competition at the position. |

Re: Draft Reaction
I didn't say that, someone else did. I was just pointing out that it's irrelevant to the discussion.

He says in the media we're going to be tough, physical, nasty. He and Gruden come to agreement that they need to run power running schemes, so they hire Callahan. He drafts based on attributes: tough, physical, nasty. And he keeps repeating that mantra in every meeting with the media. His vision is fierce, intense, hard hitting. But most importantly it's not all talk, every move he makes is in that vein. Finally we see an identity forming. An identity the team can rally around and take pride in. Finally they can say the words "I'm a Redskin" and have it actually mean something. "I'm a Redskin and I will fight you for every last inch." "I'm a Redskin and if you want to win this game, you'll have to go THROUGH me." "I'm a Redskin and I'M the hammer." "I... am... a... Redskin." Sports are so mental. There are Xs and Os and salary cap strategies and everything else. But if you form a sense of belonging around a few guiding principles, you engender a team atmosphere and you engender camaraderie. That's the vision here, build a culture around toughness, around strength, around intimidation. With a vision like that this team will run through an absolute fucking wall for Gruden. And we can thank McCloughan for setting us on the path.

Re: Draft Reaction
I'm very happy with this draft. Been waiting for this attitude for years. I think we've improved quite a bit from last year. Scot is setting the kind of tone for this team that I've been waiting for. Tough, hard hitting football players. The O-Line should be better than we've seen in a very, very long time. The defense was improved in both FA and the draft. Love P. Smith! We have a bruiser at RB that can move the chains and be a factor in the red zone, and a slot receiver who can potentially be a gamechanger. Our ST's should be much improved and we have some mean, nasty MF's on our team. Scot M. was a fantastic choice for GM and all in all its been one hell of an off season. I feel good about the new coaches, the new players, and the new attitude. The Redskins have turned a HUGE corner IMO and I feel great about the future of this team. LOVE IT! HTTR!!!

Re: Draft Reaction
@Russellmania980
#Redskins GM Scot McCloughan on @ESPNRadio980 "I'm not making any changes," on the scouting staff. Says they were very impressive. No changes? SO wait....you mean this whole time the scouting department was top notch yet only our GM/HCs were fucktards? Does anybody swallow this whole? Didn't Bruce Allen say he had say so on personnel so who's to say Bruce behind this? I don't trust that fucker one bit, and it's only a matter of time before that jackass messes up a good thing. I really want to believe our scouting staff is top notch, but it's hard to when it comes to this organization.

Tickets that wont even sell for $5 can and should make the ones step back that dont need to be at the forefront of team building. If Allen wants to turn fans against him and/or the franchise, all he has to do is make sure McC cant do it his way. |

Re: Draft Reaction
Which leaves us with this great prediction.
@Russellmania980 · According to FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis , #Redskins are projected to have the # 1 overall pick in 2016. Apparently a three-way (5-11) tiebreaker
