So if someone commits a crime twice, they should be locked up forever? You do realize that murderers, rapists and pedophiles get out of prison in only a few years all the time. We should let more of them out so that we can keep people convicted of DWIs behind bars forever?

Based on limited available evidence, Brent is truly remorseful for his actions. I doubt he will ever drink and drive again. I mean, if you were driving drunk and killed your best friend in the whole world, probably watched him die, would you drink and drive again?
